Extra Activities

 

Garden State Academy not only focuses on teaching, but also the enrichment of children's lives. Each school year, there are many additional activities for both students and parents. 

Pajama Day
Sweetheart Dance
Special Visitors - Community helpers, musicians, animals
Annual Pumpkin Picking
Field Trip to See "The Nutcracker"
Field Trips - Adventure Aquarium, Farms, ACUA (changes each school year)
100th Day of School - Dress Like a 100 Year Old!
Week of the Young Child - A week long celebration of children with events and activities!
GSA Fun Run - A fun, festive event for children featuring an activity course with age appropriate obstacles.
Mommy & Me Music Class - Moms (or dads, or grandparents) join in our music class each week
Annual Winter Art Show - a display of student artwork in December
End of The Year Graduation Show - performed at Stockton University, our students show the public all the music, dance, art, karate, songs, and more learned throughout the year.
Karate - On Wednesdays and Thursdays, students have the opportunity to learn beginner's karate from AmeriKick Karate.
Gymnastics - On Mondays, Blake's Gymnastics has the students up and moving around.
Dance - On Fridays, students will receive a dance lesson from Blake's Gymnastics Dance Coach.
Irish Dance
Kindergarten - Physical Education program, performing arts, gardening, scrapbooking.
